What happens when you delete

  • Straight awayYour alerts stop and you are signed out on every device. Autopay is cancelled, so you will not be charged again. AI-assistant (MCP) keys you created stop working within an hour.
  • Changed your mind?Sign back in within 14 days and the deletion is cancelled. Your alerts resume; autopay stays cancelled.
  • After 14 daysYour watchlists, alert settings, research history and any time left on your plan are deleted. Nothing is refunded automatically.

If Razorpay has not yet confirmed that your autopay is cancelled, we keep retrying, and deletion waits until it is. Payment and tax records are kept as the law requires: see what we keep.

What we delete

When the 14 days are over, we erase:

  • Your account and mobile number, your sign-in sessions and codes, and your list of signed-in devices
  • Watchlists, followed stocks and themes, and alert settings
  • Your portfolio, the holdings files you uploaded, and linked smallcase holdings
  • Research questions and answers, saved prompts and analysis requests
  • Support tickets and their screenshots, data-issue reports and feedback answers
  • Feature requests you submitted and their attachments, chart layouts and saved strategy plans
  • Messages you posted in live concall chat
  • Usage records: features used against your plan limits, pages viewed, company profiles opened, calls listened to, your remaining query-credit balance, the link or ad that brought you to us, and how you told us you found us
  • Push-notification tokens, and AI-assistant (MCP) keys and connections
  • Delivery records of the WhatsApp messages we sent you, and plan reminder and plan-interest records

What we keep, and for how long

Payment and GST invoice records are kept as Indian law requires. Everything else is erased, apart from the short-lived copies listed below.

  • Payment and GST invoice records: invoices, payments, plan and autopay records, and purchased query credits. Indian company law requires books of account to be kept for 8 years (section 128 of the Companies Act, 2013), which is longer than the 72 months GST law requires (section 36 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017). They are unlinked from your account and mobile number, and each invoice is kept exactly as issued, including the name, email, GSTIN, address and phone number printed on it.
  • Your number inside records that stay, such as coupon or referral redemptions and reports on other people's chat messages: it is replaced by a random ID.
  • A note that the deletion was done: its dates, with no phone number.
  • Not erased straight away: Server logs (kept for up to two weeks), backups (until they rotate out), a pseudonymous code derived from your number in our AI usage logs, and the records Razorpay and WhatsApp keep under their own policies.
